Mike Strickler and Luke Ramos were working on some noise rock in the summer of 2009. Mike discovered some of the more indie rock songs Luke had written and realized they were awesome. The two decided to focus on these songs. When their good friend Jeremy Current offered his services playing bass, the Activity was made whole.
