The Accentrix is a female fronted band with a unique sound. The band's original music combines elements of rock, jazz, blues, folk, and funk to create a very diverse sound. The band's debut album was released in August '08 and is available on iTunes, digstation, and many other digital retailers as well as through cdbaby.com!!!! The band has taken the diverse approach in creating their first LP. The CD contains songs ranging from a 70's funk inspired track 1 "Waste of Time", to a more modern rock sound in track 6 "The Real You". Other sounds include: track 7 "Tempt Me" a jazzy groove rock feel; track 5 "In This World" a classically influenced ballad with classical guitar, bowed string bass, and piano; track 4 "All In My Mind" takes a 70's analog approach to rock; both track 10 "Someone" and track 9 "The Path" an 80's metal influenced rock tracks with unique and technical lead guitar solos; tracks 3 "Little Did I Know" and 7 "Friends?" are folk/acoustic rock tunes; track 11 "The Missing Piece" is an adult contemporary/pop track; and track 2 "One Day" is a jazzy groove rock tune with the acoustic version concluding the album at track 12 "One Day (acoustic version)

The band always performs with the core songwriting duo of Hollie and Paul. The other members vary as professional schedules allow.
