On Sunday 23rd March, thousands of people will be taking part in The Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Games at the hugely iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Whether they run, swim or cycle, they’ll also get to enjoy a fun-filled day out as the Park will transform into a hub of activity for Sport Relief 2014. At the centre of the park will be The Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Games Event Village, close to the finish line of the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile, which will host an array of activities to enjoy. Free to everyone, the Village will be open from 09.30-16.30 and those taking part in the Games will find exclusive photo opportunities, the chance to try different Olympic & Paralympic sports and captivating entertainment on the live stage. For those taking part in the London Mile, they can look forward to a fun and gentle warm up, colourful dance acts and inspiring musicians all performing for the first time in the newly landscaped gardens of the Park. In fact, the Park will resonate to the sounds of samba, jazz, Bollywood and traditional pipe music and drums. We've brought you an inspiring and iconic route through the newly landscaped Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park that takes you past the Aquatics Centre, Orbit and the Stadium - check it out by downloading a Mile route map here. At Lee Valley Velopark, there’ll also be an opportunity to have a free guided tour of the velodrome as well as displays on the BMX track running throughout the day.
