The band has their own avatars, and they can see the number of thousands of people that are playing and listening to their songs. "It's pretty amazing. “Small Room 9 has been together over two and a half years with its current members. Founding members Rod Mooney (vocals, guitar) and Glenn Sasser (lead guitar) have been together since the beginning for close to five years when the band was started in the fall of 1998. Harvey Lott (drums) has been playing for almost four years with SR9 and Josh Ishee (bass) has been in the line up over 2 and a half years. Small Room 9 is based around the Hattiesburg area with members from Collins, Seminary, and Ellisville, Mississippi. SR9's sound is compared to bigger names such as Stone Temple Pilots, Fuel, U2, or Tonic. Powerful guitar riffs and moving lyrics have given SR9 a distinct sound all their own that can only be described as original rock.
