sky-makai is a sustainable-agriculture specialist and the chief-steward of 'the shire', where hawaii regional burningman event -'rebirth'- has been held in 2006 & 2007.
originally from boulder, colorado, his musical background encompasses almost every genre; his father is a roots-raggae musician/producer, who included him in his recording... his first electronic music experince was of ray lynch's 'deep breakfast'.  later, he was highly influenced by nine-inch-nails, the beatles and jimmy hendrix.
he labeles his chosen genre as 'psoul-trance', with layered ambiant journeys flowing into tribal drum and didgeridoo flared psytrance-breaks.
he is a co-facilitator of 'ectatic-dance', on the big-island of hawaii, where he often spins and dances.
he is often busy recording and mixing obscure gems of local and foreign talent, for new sensations in the sonic realm.
