The Republic of Wolves -
The Republic of Wolves is an indie rock band from Long Island, New York consisting of Mason Maggio and Christian Van Deurs of the indie folk band Tigers On Trains as well as Billy Duprey, Gregg Andrew Dellarocca, and Chris Wall (who toured with Lights Resolve). AbsolutePunk named their debut extended play His Old Branches “the best EP to be released in 2009”. Punknews.org has noted that there are “some moments of brilliant restraint in their songs”. The Republic Of Wolves were placed on a list of the “Top 10 Indie Bands” in Substream Music Press magazine, where they are described as having “dark sounds, slowly but forcefully delivered vocals, and aggressively smart lyrics.” The band has performed with acts such as Gabriel the Marine, The Felix Culpa, Robbers, Harvard, Sainthood Reps, Tiger Riot, and others.
Gabriel The Marine -
GTM started in 2008 when it's members were all still in high school. They released a self-titled demo and started playing together, getting opportunities to open for bigger bands in the NY/tri-state area. A year later, the band released the five-song album "Your Friends and Loved Ones" independently, played the Bamboozle Festival (and again in 2010) and toured in support of it, opening for artists such as Mew, Jack's Mannequin, Taking Back Sunday, Glassjaw, Good Old War, The Dear Hunter, As Tall As Lions, John Nolan (of Straylight Run and Taking Back Sunday), and many other great artists. For the last year or so, GTM have been writing and recording their debut full length album.
