TomCattt

Thomas Patton AKA: TomCattt is a Canadian singer-songwriter and music video producer born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. From the beginning music has prowled with accordion lessons at a young age, followed by sax, blues harp and more recently piano, vocals, songwriting and recording. TomCattt credits his mother for his stage name "TomCattt” as she was big on nicknames for those she held close to her heart. TomCattt started writing and recording music 11 years ago; his music is best described as a modern fusion of Pop and Indie Pop music. Accompanied by the creative tracks of several gifted musicians, his first album "Hiiyaaaaaaaaaaa" inspires imagination and finds a way to impress with a unique vocal sound, compelling harmony and gripping melody. There is little doubt that TomCattt writes from the heart as his lyrical content is a living reflection of his emotional journey that followed leaving love, and finding new love only to lose love once again. TomCattt has also been inspired and influenced by so many great musicians of the past and present; namely, David Bowie, Robert Palmer, The Beach Boys, America, The Beatles, Eurythmics, The Eagles, Hall and Oates, The Guess Who, Zeplin, Chicago, M+M and so many others.

Since June of 2013, TomCattt has released 9 single releases off his 2nd album "Sinophilia" and he has enjoyed considerable success on Youtube and Vevo with his very popular music video's "The Hurt", "Yes Love (Official)", "Im So Slow", "New Love" Cruise (all original soundtracks from Hiiyaaaaaaaaaaa) and from his 2nd album "Sinophilia": "Not Your Toy", "Trust Not (Lyric Video)"; Trust Not (Official); "Shapeshifter (Official)" and "You Know (Official)". TomCattt was featured on the very popular Internet NSFW 185 Stop the Lies and Realize: https://archive.org/details/NSFW_185, appeared on NSFW 188: https://archive.org/details/NSFW_188 and auditioned live on Canada's Got Talent in 2022.

In 2020, TomCattt released 5 music video's as fundraisers for the Canadian and American Red Cross to help fight COVID – 19; specifically, "I Want to Wash Your Hands 4K"; "Virus Fighting Nation 2.7K": "A Yes Love Birthday Wish to Jessica From Joe"; "I Was So Blind 4K by TomCattt, Brother Daniel, Big D and Kent Dale" and "Holiday by Kimbalyn Babylove 4K". On March 3, 2020 The Tonight Show featured TomCattt's popular song "Yes Love":

On July 26, 2021, TomCattt released his first and very popular single "Try This" off his new Album: “Cattt Man Do” and followed that up with the "Try This (Official)" Youtube music video on March 22, 2022. TomCattt's 2nd single release "Lucky Man" (published on October 13, 2021) could very well be the wedding song of the decade with its one hundred beats per minute of the best man wishing the bride and groom a life graced with the presence of ever-lasting love. The music video "Lucky Man (Official)" premiered on July 29, 2022 and has been very well received by his ever-growing fanbase. On November 19, 2021, TomCattt released his 3rd single"New Love (Remix)" – a chill and lazy country blues with haunting vocals that takes one on a quest for new love.

TomCattt was very busy in 2023 releasing several shorty music videos on Youtube; namely, "You Can't Hide From Yourself (Shorty)", "Great Big Hurry (Shorty), "Hiiyaaaaaaaaaaa (Shorty)", "Shy (Shorty)", "Oooooutcha (Shorty)", "Three of Us (Shorty)", "Thanks (Shorty)" "With You (Shorty)", "Pants On Fire (Shorty)", "Richard With Love (Shorty), "It's The Only Time (Shorty)" and "Lady Love (Shorty)". All the audio clips used for these short music videos were taken from songs off his 1st and 2nd albums, "Hiiyaaaaaaaaaaa" and "Sinophilia".

On July 2, 2023, TomCattt released his 4th "Cattt Man Do" single "Bad Man Sad Man" – a solid zip of rock 'n' roll that inspires a new lease on life to those who have suffered from abusive relationships. TomCattt continues to be productive in 2024 with the Youtube release of the"New Love (Remix) (OFCL)" music video on January 5 and the "Bad Man Sad Man (OFCL)" music video on February 1. As an evolving artist with serious potential, TomCattt has set his sights on the big stage and is hopeful that someday soon the name "TomCattt" will be synonymous with excellence in music.
