About

Rodney Hayden has been featured in People Magazine, Billboard, USA Today, Entertainment Weekly, No Depression, CMT, Country Weekly and countless other magazines and newspapers.  Although you might not have heard him on mainstream country radio he has been building up a loyal fanbase since his first album "The Real Thing" in 2001, by playing such festivals and venues as the Fillmore, Houston Astrodome, Willie Nelson's Fourth of July Picnic, Robert Earl Keen's Texas Uprising, Wolfdance, Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre's in Houston and San Antonio, Grand Ole Opry Plaza, Austin City Limits Festival, and the list goes on.  In 2003 Hayden released "Living The Good Life" on Audium/Koch Records which was produced by Texas/Americana legend Robert Earl Keen, and was the follow up to his critically acclaimed debut "The Real Thing" produced by non other than Tony Brown.  April 2007 Rodney Hayden released "Down The Road" on his newly formed label "Palomino Records".  Hayden and band will travel to Europe for their second overseas tour in May, record a new album in June and host the first ever "Rodney Hayden Music Festival" in McCoy, TX in July.
