Rockberry Pie

It isn’t very often that a band comes along that is both delicious and moving, but that is exactly what happened when Rockberry Pie formed.  Based in Durham, NC , Rockberry Pie is one part rock, one part sweet and 100% awesome.  With the release of Have A Slice, Rockberry pie stands poised to take over both the music industry and the dessert world. 

Founded in 2006 by The Chef, the members of Rockberry Pie comprise a who’s who of North Carolina greatness.  On bass you have the incomparable Billy “Sweet Tooth” Ferguson.  Rocking the skins is none other than Marley Punch.  And on the guitars are the twin gods of shreddage: Mark and Mike Slaughter.  This talented lineup has taken first place for two years running at the annual “New Bern Pie and Rock” contest and will no doubt make it three in a row in 2008.  Also Rockberry Pie won a Slammy in 2007 for best tasting rock dish.  As everyone knows the Slammy is the musical food equivalent of a Grammy, just tastier. 

Nothing stands in the way of Rockberry Pie as they tour the world bringing what many are calling “the best music ever created” to the masses.  Check out the sick tunes and watch the stunning videos.  Rockberry Pie will bring the world to its collective knees, just begging for a slice of the pie.
