Bio: My parents gave my sister & I an acoustic guitar (picked out for them by my musician cousins - Greg & Don Wilkes) for Christmas the year I turned 15, in 1968. I was 'self-taught' from 2 Mel Bay Music Books (still got 'em): one on introductory guitar basics & notes, and one covering chords.
