Psykkle (pronounced “Cycle”) is a Dark-Electro project formed by Evan Collingwood, based out of Edmonton, Canada. Mixing elements of EBM, Trance, Powernoize and even some Trip-Hop influence, creating a truly original style of music to come out of the Edmonton electronic music scene. Evan had started experimenting with electronic music in 2003, when he was only 14, and worked on projects Ac1d1c Dr3am3r, and Vexation Node, before creating Psykkle. Now only 20, Evan has a large number of tracks, in various electronic styles under his belt, but of all his work, Psykkle is where his true sound is.

November of 2008 saw the release of the first official Psykkle release. “The Parthian Shot”. The Parthian Shot features a variety of differant styles of Dark Electro over 5 original tracks, a collaboration with experimental noize project Pereptor, and including remixes by (Beaverton, Oregon), Virtual Terrorist (Edmonton, Alberta), and Pereptor (Edmonton, Alberta). Now 2009, Psykkle has started working on a second release entitled “Rock Bottom Paradise”.
