“This week’s artist of the week is a progressive metalcore band from Los Angeles, California known as Portrait of Gray. They are an amazing new metalcore band that, like a lot of the other bands we feature, are putting the big dogs in metalcore to shame. How this band isn’t already in the spotlight, I will never know, but it’s a true shame. This is a very talented group of guys whose lyrics tell the most beautiful stories. There are a lot of bands out nowadays who write songs and try to put meaning to it later. That’s not the case with this band and it’s good to know. I hope to see Portrait of Gray out and about really soon. They deserve a Kerrang award!
