>20 years ago I had the opportunity to participate as a bass player on a world tour, and have wanted to do it again ever since the last day of the tour. I've written a lot of music and recorded a little. Everything recorded has been done in my home office after the wife and kids have gone to bed.

I love Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, and have always wanted to put together a compilation that stood up as an experience (like DSOTM) rather than just a random scattering of songs. OK, it's a 30-year-old concept. However, it's just not done very much these days, unless you consider High School Musical a worthy candidate.. 

This one is called Slipping Away and it tells the story of a journey. One, that I believe, most everyone goes through at some point in their life.

I originally got the idea from a 12-step program that I read about on the internet. I took the steps that applied to some people around me and me, and put them into a sequence. I suppose it could also be entitled : Dave's Mid-Life Crisis.

Currently, I'm in the studio re-working the vocals on all of the songs.Until then... enjoy, and I hope you have an experience.
