Peter Phippen – Antique Bamboo Flutes/Wooden Flutes/Crystal Flutes ... Rahbi Crawford - Crystal Singing Bowls ... “Still floating after the amazing concert last evening by Peter Phippen and Rahbi Crawford. The sounds created by Rahbi's singing bowls and Peter's flutes were so interwoven, mingling then separating again, forming a tonal collage that penetrated into one's very soul. It was quite a deep meditative experience that these master musicians created for their audience! Namaste to you both.” - Dr. R. Simon “.... we had not ever before experienced anything quite as moving - as if we were dancing while sitting quietly. The combination of flute and crystal bowls, the artistry of the musicians created a magical evening. Thanks so very much! PS. People should buy the album!” - C. Peterson “The Dreaming Tree” features Rahbi Crawford. Crystal bowls and pyramids provide an ethereal depth to this piece. The echoing sound of the crystals reaches out, blending with the flute to ensnare the listener with a deep spiritual experience. Haunting and vast, this track is haunting." - Dana Wright New Age Music Reviews "Phippen's flute expresses reverence, sorrow, joy and love with soft haunting clarity." - Victory Acoustic Magazine www.peterphippen.com "Rahbi Crawford has more healing wisdom in her experience than millions of other professionals have in their training and academics. American Mindfulness uses this elegant system of healing because of one overriding reason. It works". - Kenneth Dennis, PhD. Rehabilitation Psychologist and Marriage/Family Therapist, Rochester, MN. www.rahbicrawford.com

Q: Peter, Really enjoying the calm vibrations of your music! How many hours a day do you play/practice and what is your practice routine like? Thanks for the consideration! Sandra Malin
A: Thanks for asking Sandra, I play everyday at least three hours, not sure if I would call it "practicing". Perhaps one could say I'm "practicing" connecting to any given moment. You see, I improvise 90% of the time and I'm not sure that I even have a "routine". I just play what I feel ... I love to play late at night in the dark with all the lights out. I also enjoy playing outside along with nature. (anytime during the day or night). Playing at night in the woods is amazing, as is just before sunrise when the birds are starting to sing. I also enjoy playing during thunderstorms, or while in the midst of an almost silent snow fall. But any environment will put a different spin on your playing if your paying attention to the sound of your surroundings. I notice my playing is a bit faster in cities, so I go with it, (just an observation) ... Personally, I like to play long flowing lines, I like cross fingerings, bending notes, and so on. I feel it is important to have a beautiful tone. I'm not trying to impress with my playing, for me it is not what you play but how you play it. Hope this helps. Best to you and yours, Peter
