I started playing drums in bands in 1966
In 1971 I started taking guitar lessons from Lynn Dobbins.
I continued to play drums in bands through 1981, but started playing acoustic guitar in local clubs and churches as well.
I started buying recording equipment in the late 1990s to record the local school bands my daughters were involved with and songs I had written myself. Through a friend named Randell Carlson, I met Illegible Records founder Eric Blades.
