Double Entendre tells a story. It's inspired by events that occurred throughout 2009, mostly my freshman year of college. It's a deeply personal record and I consider it my best songwriting to date in my musical career. Despite the album's poetic ambiguity, I think people will read their own meanings into the songs and be able to relate to what I'm singing in a unique way. The track listing:
1. I Jumped the Gun 2. Grudges 3. You'll Believe the Lie 4. That City 5. Only Again 6. Faithful
The beautiful thing to me about 'Double Entendre' is that everything was constructed intentionally; the track listing, arrangements, album title, graphics, lyrics, etc. There isn't one aspect of this record that isn't filled with significance and meaning, nothing 'penned in vain.' It's an exciting prospect for me, and I'm really feeling like the response will be phenomenal... or I'm hoping so!
