Little Rock Chamber of Commerce Gig.

Just played a gig at the Little Rock Chamber of Commerce Meeting. Member businesses lined the halls of Concourse One at War Memorial Stadium. Richard Deutsch of Piano Kraft brought in a Yamaha C3 Grand Piano.

I was hoping to play with Concert Violinist Oksana, but she was not available, so I called up Drummer Dave Rogers and he called up Upright Bassist David...yikes, can't remember his last name. I assumed that Richard wasn't going to let me bring the Hammond, but he did, and after doing an hour set as a jazz piano trio, I got on the Hammond and Dave and I did our jazz organ thing.

Richard said the Chamber will send an email to 2500 of its members with my contact information.

These guys are wonderful musicians, and Richard has invited us back for the next meeting in June. Our pictures will be available on the Little Rock Chamber of Commerce website. \

Thanks to Richard and Piano Kraft for a great time, the invite, for the piano, for taking his time to get me some business cards real this afternoon and for helping me to get the musicians to show up at the last minute!

Update

Did a Hammond Organ/Drums duo with Little Rock drummer Dave Rogers last weekend, and then with Concert Violinist Oksana of Ovation Music Academy in Benton and Valerie Vigil this past weekend. Audio/Video recording was done at Fletcher Music, with Danny Fletcher. Heard tracks from the duo, and it sounds great, looking forward to putting them up there.

6:30 AM-Austin/Bergstrom International Airport

Arrived in Austin, TX yesterday to play and sing Christmas songs for friends. I was hitting on all cylinders, the Spirit of God was definitely with me.

Now I am headed back to Arkansas where I will teach a lesson this afternoon and get ready for Concert Violinist Oksana's show at the historic Royal Theater in Benton and get ready for another Sunday service.

I plan to start recording and posting some new music next week.

What I'm Doing

Tomorrow at Scope Ministries we are playing 'He Is Able', 'Praise Is What I Do', and 'Press In His Presence'. In the afternoon I will be rehearsing with Concert Violinist Oksana as we prepare for our concert in Benton, AR at the Royal Theater, 7 PM on December 22.

I'm Now 48% Completing My Profile

Played at Otter Creek Baptist Church tonight with Abby from another church I don't remember the name of. Now back home relaxing before I have to go to work again. Here comes Black Friday!
