Borderline Backstage Pass

Borderline is constantly working to bring our fans a high energy and high quality show each and every week. The addition of new songs and adding some oldies but goodies from time to time helps keep each show fresh. This year Borderline has also decided to take it a step further with the "Borderline Backstage Pass".

Here is how it works:

Sign up for the Borderline Backstage Pass at any Borderline show. It’s FREE and takes less than 1 minute. When you sign up you will be given a Borderline Backstage Pass card. Then, every time you come to a Borderline show your Backstage Pass will be marked. After you have had your Backstage Pass stamped at 5 shows you will be entered into a drawing for FREE concert tickets, Borderline merchandise, and other cool prizes. Come to another five shows and your name will be entered again. After your entire Backstage Pass card has been filled up, you will be entered to win the BIG prize (will be announced later this year) that will be given away at the Borderline Christmas on November 24th.

Borderline will be giving away tickets to see Brad Paisley with The Band Perry and Scotty McCreery – Miranda Lambert with Chris Young and Jerrad Niemann – Lady Antebellum with Darius Rucker and Thompson Square – Rascal Flatts with Little Big Town and Eden’s Edge – Toby Keith with Brantley Gilbert – Jason Aldean with Luke Bryan… All shows will be at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in St. Louis, MO. Giveaway dates will be announce at a later time.

You must be 18+ years old and be a legal U.S. citizen who is currently a resident of Missouri or Illinois to be eligible to win.

Its as simple as that. The more Borderline shows you come to, the more chances you will have to win!

We hope to see you at the next Borderline show!

Back in business

It feels good to be back in the swing of things. Recently, Borderline's former front man Kyle Greenwell, returned from Arizona back to St. Louis to rejoin the band. The first show a couple of weeks ago had it's ups and downs but all in all, things went pretty well. The second show with Kyle back on stage was in front of a standing room only crowd and things started coming together a little more. Our most recent show with Kyle leading the way felt like things did nearly 4 years ago when Borderline was at the top of our game.

Borderline is currently working to build on a set list that is already pretty good. But when it comes to Borderline, good is never good enough. We will be adding many songs in the coming weeks and trying to keep our fans on their toes wondering what great new songs, or awesome older tunes we may play at our shows.

Be on the look out for Borderline because we are back in business and ready to entertain you at every show. Also be sure to "like" Borderline on Facebook (www.facebook.com/theborderlineband) and tell all of your friends that Borderline is back!

2010 is Flying By..

In 2010, Borderline decided to expand and add a 6th member. Since the beginning in the late 1990's Borderline has always had 5 players. With the addition of acoustic guitar player and back up vocalist, Kenny Ziegler, Borderline has been able to broaden the horizon when it comes to song choice. Borderline can play songs from Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and Garth Brooks like they did before, but now songs from Lady Antebellum, the Eagles, and many other groups are complete with full 3 part harmony. Borderline has added shows in 2010 at popular local clubs like the Regal Beagle, Adrien's, Gilliganz, and Wild Country, and Borderline has also began to fill the calendar with fairs and festivals as well. Borderline will be performing at the Sangamon County, IL Fair in the Bud Pavilion following the Cross Canadian Ragweed Show. Borderline is also slated to perform at the IL State Fair on Governor’s Night. When it comes to festivals and other outside events, Borderline will a part of the O’Fallon, Missouri Jammin' Concert Series, as well as Schweizerfest in Highland, IL, the Flint Hill, Missouri Summer and Fall Festivals, and the Bethalto, IL Homecoming on Labor Day Weekend. 2010 seems to be flying by but Borderline will continue to add great shows throughout the year. Borderline is currently working out the details on a show with a National Touring Country Artist in September. Details for that show will be coming in a later blog. In the mean time, feel free to check out Borderline on MySpace, face book, and our website www.theofficialborderlineband.com
