Bio
The debut album, “Try it out before you thank me,” is an artistic collaboration of inspirations that ensued between 2006 and 2008. As the collaboration developed, it expanded to feature reputable guest musicians Abel Melody, Christopher Delaney, Danny Paschal, Jim Coley, and Mike Delaney. The music is an optimistic celebration dedicated to musicianship, dance, art, love, and everyday life in Atlanta, Georgia.
About
Mr. Lucky is the result of an instrumental artistic accident. It was inspired through seven scratch tracks of piano tunes by Johnny Davidson (My Cousin Troy) recorded by Shawn (Mudfish) Delaney at the Nine Fire Studio in East Atlanta. Out of pure inspiration, Chris Reeves tracked live drums in his own studio (EarDrum), and critics who heard the results persuaded them to push the project forward. After setting up camp at Nine Fire and bringing Kevin Vines (Bass) into the mix, Mr. Lucky was born.
In 2009 Mr. Lucky will be available for various platforms to showcase their music including benefits, clubs, corporate functions, media events, parties, studio sessions, and tour support. It’s about making a living, risking everything, assimilating creative ambition, and washing away the dust of everyday life.
