“The influences I picked up from the album include Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Black Sabbath and Molly Hatchet. They even have some of that modern dirty Texas sound put out by bands such as Wo Fat, Split Hoof and Super Heavy Goat Ass. In most albums I can find little things here and there that I didn’t care for or like but Mothership has nothing. I couldn’t find a damn thing wrong with this album. To me that says a lot.
