Mark Eon’s Journey into the world of dance music began back in 1997 at the tender age of 15, Mark Eon is an individual driven by an inner passion for dance music.
Mark Eon’s influences have stemmed from his extensive experience in Breakbeat, House, Trance, Techno, Tribal, Drum & Bass and up to UK hardcore.
In 1999, Mark found his finger firmly planted on the pulse of the UK hard dance scene. When the scene was requesting new upcoming leaders, Mark stood to the front line and pushed himself into the new millennium as one of the future breed. In 2002 Mark received his first professional event booking for Hysteria, one of the biggest event promoters in the UK and continued on to become Hysteria resident. From that point Mark received much attention from other big EO’s in the UK and became resident at Flashback in Birmingham frequenting the 1210’s at the legendary Que Club and the Sanctuary. After running two residencies side by side for almost 2 years mark’s skill for studio engineering was spotted by the biggest label collective in the UK, the NEC, based in London, Mark has close ties to the label and continues to work with them to this day.
After performing at countless gigs across the UK from club events, Rave parties and radio shows, Mark decided to take time out from the UK scene and hit the Australian dance music scene with a stealth like bang.
In November 2005 Mark received his first international booking to play at the infamous Bully’s club in Townsville, this started a succession of further career achievements, In December 2005 mark became resident DJ at the Palace alongside Brazilian DJ Guga, in Brisbane. Whilst spinning at the Palace, realization set in, the time for diversification had arrived and Mark Eon started learning to play to a different crowd and became more interested and involved in the House music scene.
Whilst remaining as Resident at the Palace, The bookings continued to come and in July 2006 Mark Eon lined up alongside other UK Acts, DJ Impact, Tara Reynolds & Karim at Critical Mass, organized by one of the queensland states biggest Event Organisers, System 6.
In October 2006 and having served nearly 9 months as the Palace’s much loved resident, Mark took the decision to leave Australia and continued his journey to Indonesia, again with a stealthy approach Mark made many mysterious appearances in Kuta, Bali and in December 2006 Mark accepted a booking from Sahara Club, Lombok, where he went down in history as the first international DJ ever to play a special event on the island.
Since late 2005 and now in 2008 Mark sits firmly within the house music scene with the ability to play the full house music spectrum, Mark Eon delivers the sound that the people want, from House to Electro and Progressive, Electro Breakbeat and Tribal.
Marks club sound is pumping and uplifting for those who love music with high energy.
Now in his 11th year and at the age of 26 with his DJ experience taking him from the UK to Australia, Indonesia and back again. Mark has achieved a lot in his time, his play, dedication and passion for the music he plays always shines through in his manner and performance proving to all he is up there with the best of them.
Mark Eon is one of the most hard working individual DJ’s ever to be exported from the UK, without a high ranking number, big management, label backing, marketing or promotion Mark’s passion drives him to always prove himself at every turn and always lets his performance do the talking. Mark’s self created success only continues to go from strength to strength.
In 2008 Mark Eon became the successor to DJ Milinka & DJ Devina (Formerly Electric Barbarellas) on the Djarum Black Autoblackthrough tour, the flagship modified automotive event in Indonesia. The tour travels through 7 cities, Surabaya, Jogja, Bandung, Medan, Balikpapan, Makassar to the final battle in Jakarta in December 2008.
2008 also saw Mark Eon become an official ambassador for UDG alongside Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto also Aldrin in Malaysia and Remy Irwan and DJ Riri in Indonesia. In October 2008 mark will become one of the first global DJ ambassadors for the Skullcandy brand of DJ Headphones and has full support from the 3 biggest clothing brands in Indonesia, 3second, Moutley and Greenlight.
Back in June 2008 Mark Eon entered the top 100 artists on U.S Reverbnation Chart, peaking at number 92, Mark also has collaborated with US label 4-Fo-Rela to produce a remix of their original hip hop track Relatron.
With an unrivalled passion for music, a long list of past performances and a stage presence which is a must see, Mark Eon is continuing to grow amongst the other great DJ’s in the world, with his individual track productions, alongside the work of other artists Mark Eon delivers a sound which is uniquely his own.
