Bio
At 19, living in southern California, I borrowed money from family and friends and put together my first CD. After playing up and down the west coast, I headed to Nashville. I grew up on ALL types of music and still love to play Heart and Journey tunes. If I had to describe my style, its country with some soul, a la Trisha Yearwood meets Bonnie Raitt. I write my own music and have been lucky enough to collaborate with some of the best songwriters in Nashville. The best thing about country music is the story and the best response I can get from my audience is: “Where are you playing next?” I hope you love my songs and of course it would be great if you bought a couple of them. See you at the show!
About
So, here's the quick version of where I've been and where I'm going. When I was 19, living in southern California, and knew music was going to be my future, I borrowed money from family and friends who believed in me, hired a producer and some great studio musicians and put together my first CD. Since then, it's just been full speed ahead. After playing to audiences up and down the west coast, I headed to Nashville and jumped right into the songwriting community. With all the crossover music today, I hate to label my “style”, but if I had to describe the music I love to play, its country with some soul and a bluesey feel, ala Trisha Yearwood meets Bonnie Raitt. I grew up on ALL types of music, including lots of classic rock and r&b, and I still love to play Heart and Journey tunes. I write my own music and have been lucky enough to collaborate with some of the best songwriters in Nashville. I've always said, the best thing about country music is the story it tells. I love to see the audience just waiting to hear the next word. The best response I can get from my audience is: ‘Where are you playing next?” and I leave the stage, I want to know that people had a good time. I have played intimate acoustic venues of 30 people up to concerts for 3500 people, and even Dodger Stadium for 50,000! I love being on stage and love to interact with the band and with the fans. And, since dancing is another passion of mine, I've been known to jump down off the stage to line dance with the girls or do a quick twirl around the floor with one of the guys. When you come to my live show, you are definitely going to feel something! I hope you love my songs and of course it would be great if you bought a couple of them. See you at the show!
