Also, Brian Schebish playing electric fretless five string bass guitar and assisting with lead/ harmony vocals. Bart Balderson on the drums laying down the beat and adding vocal harmony. Currently, “The Lisa Lim Band” plays mainly original material with some covers mixed in that they put their own spin on. It’s a blue’s rock funk groove with a lot of originality thrown into the mix.

Lisa Lim, a native of Fredericksburg, Va., has been inspired by and devoted to music since a very young age. She is a singer/songwriter multi instrumentalist. To her credit, her blazing lead, slide and rhythmic guitar chops leaves you breathless! You can hear many of her influences, SRV, Eric Clapton, Arlen Roth, Debbie Davies, Sue Foley, Ana Popovic, Gary Moore, Danny Gatton and the list goes on. Meanwhile, she is still managing to carve out her own sound and music lovers all around are paying close attention to the continual growth that is taking place. Lisa has gigged solo, in duo’s and various bands touring over the past two decades. She plays several instruments, electric & acoustic guitar, electric bass guitar, keyboards/piano, drums, voice (lead & harmony), and the mandolin. She has played a variety of music styles over the yrs. She currently just released her debut CD, Lisa Lim “Crazy Feelin’ This Way”. You could describe it as blue’s rock with a hint of funk, borderline mainstream. Lisa is also collaborating with other singer songwriters writing crossover country, mainstream, and blues funk tunes. She currently gigs with her band “The Lisa Lim Band”.
Lisa is a well respected premier music instructor in the Central Va. and D.C. area. She teaches at her studio “Lim’s Music”. She has been teaching for 15+ yrs. She stays in high demand for music lessons. She teaches all styles, levels and to all age groups. She takes pride in the legions of students she’s had the privilege to teach. And has seen many go on to perform and grow into tremendously accomplished musicians.

Brian Schebish: A singer songwriter multi instrumentalist grew up in Blue Mountain, Va. Brian started playing guitar at the age of ten. Then went on to pickup the electric bass guitar at age thirteen. By the age of sixteen, he was gigging in blue’s, punk and jam bands in and around the D.C. music scene. He toured extensively on the East Coast from the early 80’s to the early 90’s performing on the college circuit. Brian was band leader and lead vocalist in “Cosmic Debri”,
“Jello”, and “The Awakening”. He toured & recorded with “Headstone Circus” from ‘93 to ‘96. Opening for national acts, “The Wallflowers”, Dave Mathews”, & “Blacksheep”. Brian joined “The Lisa Lim Band” early ‘07 bringing with him lots of talent and experience in songwriting and performance.
Bart Alan Balderson: From The backwoods of the badlands! Born left handed and feet first, some say he's blessed, others say he's cursed! Bart began his drumming career at the tender age of 7. Self taught. Bart has toured extensively up & down the East coast. Opening for many national acts. To name a few, Bad Company, Extreme, Kixx, Ted Nugent and the list goes on. Some of his main influences are power bands of the '70's, Deep Purple, Zeppelin, Robin Trower and many more. Bart brings to the band some serious grooves, charisma and creativity!
