“Jenkins' first recorded project for Big Machine was a cover of "Looks That Kill" for the Motley Crue tribute disc Nashville Outlaws -- and the newcomer proved her moxie and then some. Q: When did you start writing songs and playing the guitar? Did anybody introduce you to songwriting/guitar playing?
A: I've always loved writing and singing. I have a notebook from when I was 8 filled with "songs" I wrote. I suppose I started seriously writing when I taught myself guitar at age 15. It was all self taught, but the past couple of years I've worked with some really talented people and I've developed my craft a lot. Thank you for your questions! - LJ
