Bio
Since 2007 I've performed at venues ranging from a tiny spirit store nestled amid medieval ruins north of Dublin to the main stage at the renowned Telluride Bluegrass Festival, where I performed for over 10,000 festivarians in the Colorado mountains two years in a row. After completing a marathon tour at last summer’s Rocky Mountain Folks Festival I challenged myself to live in one place continuously for an entire year. I chose Manhattan, familiar ground that allowed me to exist on foot rather than behind the wheel. I survived a winter without heat by writing more than a hundred songs and poems I'm about to return to the road that inspired them.
