Luis Alberto Santiago, artistically known as L.A. Santiago, was born in Ohio. In a small town that borders Lake Erie about an hour from Cleveland. His father a musician as well, was L.A.'s first introduction to music. A self taught guitarist who had a Meringue Band, and a weekly live radio show that featured the Band's music. As a young child L.A. loved to sing, but his parents were not hip to the same music he wanted to sing, and they often discouraged him. This only pushed him harder to pursue the music career he dreamed of. Although he began singing at the tender age of four, and had some vocal training as a child, L.A. did not pursue his professional music career until April of 2006. It was then that he realized time was passing him by and did not want his dream slipping by. L.A. is a person who visualizes success and is determined to succeed. He set out to prove all of the people in his life who had doubted him wrong. Most importantly to live a dream that was always inside of him, so he cast his fears aside and headed to San Antonio with only $600 in his pocket. After getting off to a rocky start in San Antonio, L.A. soon began to accomplish great things in his musical career. He now has completed his second album "Stalker", which includes upbeat Dance/Pop singles "No More", "Come Away With Me" Dance/Pop/Latin single "Azerca De Mi/Close To Me", R&B/Pop Style single "Stalker", Romanitc R&B/Pop/Latin singles "Sin Tu Sonrisa/Without Your Smile", "Keep Coming Back" with a romantic and Latin twist sure to make any girl melt. The album includes three English/Latin tracks. Collaborations with Big Kone, Ms. Jeans of 98.5 The Beat, Tino Cochino of Power 106.7, and Epic Record's Recording Artist Question?. The album in general is a Highly Charged Pop/Dance/R&B album, with influences such as Frankie J., DJ Kane (Kumbia Kings), and mixed with a little bit of Elvis Crespo are very apparent, but L.A. has a very unique and amazing style that can be compared to no one.
