"Fishin'" is not an album that fits tightly into any particular genre. There's plenty of pickin' but the album hangs onto threads of country, blues, folk and bluegrass -- laced with mandolin, fiddle, steel guitar and harmonica.Walter boils down the underlying theme of the album to simply "truth," and the pursuit of it -- how he feels, where he's coming from and what he represents. That's why he plays an acoustic guitar, exclusively. "You can't hide behind it," he says.
