Ladies and Gentlemen we invite you to The Odditorium 2014. Now in its third year, we are expanding a little. 2014 will feature a host of Dancers and Musicians across 2 nights and 2 days, as always situated on the Glyndwr University Campus, Wrexham. Next years event will be a week later on 3rd, 4th & 5th October. So whats on Offer Our Friday night show case will feature live music from The Gaslight Troubadours, Jim Boz, Bargheust, The Nomads and a DJ set from Aaron 'Illusive Aftermath' Dickson. Our Dance performances will come from incredible talent of Illan Rivière, Hilde Cannoodt, Darkstar, Tigerlily, Fulya, Black Veil Tribal, Lyza, Sapphire, Shekinah Tribal, Koyuki and Rafiqa. We have 5 teachers for The Odditorium 2014 (6 workshops in total) with limited spaces. Our workshop package includes 2 workshops with Illan Riviere and 1 2 hour workshop each with Hilde Cannoodt, Darkstar, Tigerlily and Fulya. If your a Drummer fear not, as we have you covered......... The Odditorium is proud to present drumming workshops The Nomads (3 workshops in total) These will feature a 3 hour Master Class with Asif Qu and 1 2 hour sessions with Mark Carlyon and Mike Parnell. Our Saturday night show will feature for the first time an Open Stage, were performers of all styles and level will be welcome. Slots will be made available for this in the coming months. To round of our Saturday night we bring you live music from Sword Swinging Robot, The Fag Machine and we welcome back The Long Rays as our Saturday night headliners with an exclusive DJ set from the one and only Phil Meadley. That is not all however........... 2014 sees the birth of 'The Market' The Market will take place across the weekend at The Catrin Finch center on the Glyndwr campus. It will feature: Free entry level workshops (more details on these to follow) Live Music from: Victorian Hardware, Malaeus, Jed Is Dead, Neil Phillips, Jem Hammond, The Homeless Quarter and 40 Shillings On The Drum. Alternative shopping including Alt & Vintage Clothing, Dance Costume, Specialist Vinyl and CD's, Handmade Cosmetics, Specialty Tea's plus more vendors to be announced. Art Exhibition & Photography Galleries featuring work from local and national artists Independent Film Festival Featuring work from up and coming directors. Complete weekend tickets are available now and allow access to all dance workshops, both shows and the market, priced at £160 each. Drummers tickets allowing access to all three drum workshops are priced at £70 each. Tickets for the Friday night show case are £10 (£12.50 on the door). Tickets to the Saturday night Open Stage with live bands are £5 each. Tickets allowing access to The Market are £5 for the weekend.
