Bio
During the ride found through Relativity Maestro, the debut LP release from Ivison, the balance of chaos and order is carefully reset. The record is full of musical contrast, with Jayme Ivison's clear vocal reach set against cutting guitar tones and Bryan Austin's bombastic Bonham-inspired drum style, which has led to his work on world-wide tours and most recently with some of the most noted players and producers in Austin, Texas and beyond. Jayme connects the dots of a diverse experience in various forms of art and design through his songwriting. "The relationship we share with music inspires everything we record, and everything we're about. You gotta be a giver to be a receiver."

DIVERSITY / CONTRAST / COLLABORATION
During the ride found through Relativity Maestro, the debut LP release from Ivison, the balance of chaos and order is carefully reset.
The record is full of musical contrast, with Jayme Ivison's clear vocal reach set against cutting guitar tones and Bryan Austin's bombastic Bonham-inspired drum style, which has led to his work on world-wide tours and most recently with some of the most noted players and producers in Austin, Texas and beyond.
Jayme ivison connects the dots of his diverse experience in various forms of art and design through his songwriting. "The relationship we share with music inspires everything we record, and everything we're about. You gotta be a giver to be a receiver."
After a relocation into Austin's busy music scene just a few years ago, Ivison now celebrates the release of the follow-up to their EP Convergence, which inspired the award winning video Fire Escape.
The evolution of the writing and production is clear in this new release - finding new ground covered in each track while maintaining continuity and artistic sensibilities.
"Just being real seems to be challenging enough for people in this culture. If we can play a part in lifting that trap, then we've done something significant."
With a new sound, a larger stage band that welcomes guitarist Colin Slagle and bassist Naj Conklin, and the inspriration of a soul-engagement with music, Ivison moves... In the music and titles of songs like Blood On The Outside and Like A Dog, the band's statement is being made clear:
"We just strive to live inside-out."
