Bio
The band's many names and forms over the last 20 years is a salute to the broad styles of music produced by Hybrid Analysis' frontman, Simon, ranging from ambient to industrial rock.
"Trying to mold everything into one genre or niche just seems strange. To try and classify a volume of work over a certain time period into one group never seemed right. The music is a journey, it's what I feel at the time. It can be intense and relaxing all within the course of 20 minutes. And thats how the EPs usually end up. A mish-mosh of everything."
About
Originally formed in a studio just outside of downtown Orlando, Hybrid Analysis emerged from Florida's electronic music scene in 2007 with some of the top downloaded remixes from the Nine Inch Nail's album, Year Zero.
After reaching a worldwide fan-base, with international club rotation and radio airplay, the band decided to give fans more to chew on. The band's latest original work, the Counteract EP, blends ambient melodies with energetic and grinding industrial noise to create a release diverse from beginning to end. With standout tracks like Counteract, the music of Hybrid Analysis appeals to fans of industrial and ambient/electronic music. Already seeing music sales from their debut release, which will appear on iTunes in its entirety later this year, Hybrid Analysis can count on a successful future.
