GONDO playing in the Battle of the Effn Rock Bands. Really.
Join GONDO as they sit in as the backing band and special guests with their favorite British subject Andrew Bordoni & The Imagine Music Students for the 2nd annual Student Concert Fundraiser! Featuring live performances from the Imagine Music Students with GONDO as backing band and special guests: THE TAILLIGHT YEARS! Bordoni is trying to claim he doesn't know how to play "Working Man," in order to weasel out of jamming with us, but we shall strong-arm him into it, don't worry. Dude can shred. The event is free for everyone but a $5 suggested donation per person will go towards supporting the Taurage United Methodist Church and Children's Orphanage in Lithuania that Andrew represents. The church in Taurage runs a small soup kitchen that feeds 100's people in the community and is planning to build a safe playground for all the children in the area to use. There will also be a fantastic silent auction with some fantastic items which proceeds will also go towards supporting Taurage. Snacks, Food, Cookies & Non-alcoholic drinks will be available and it will be a blast! Last year was amazing...it's going to be even better this year because of you coming! SEE YOU THERE!!!

"The compression on his recordings inadvertently recalls early Bob Mould, but with cascading drum fills, layered acoustic and electric guitars, and mounting solos, joblessness has led Gondo to explore his inner classic rocker. A thick fuzz on tracks like “Intelligent Design,” however, make him fully modern. " - – , Illinois Entertainer (Dec 31, 2011)
