About

Erin and Her Cello will not be performing any Bach Cello Suites in their upcoming shows, for Erin and Her Cello are not your typical classical musicians. After being urged to write a song for the cello at the end of 2003, Erin was so scared that she sang a silly little song while accompanying herself a la pizzicato. The result? A gregarious uproar from the audience. She had struck a cello chord.

Armed with a myriad of musicians from vibraphones to accordions to beatboxers, Erin and Her Cello has since gone on to perform at theaters, comedy clubs and reputable music venues throughout New York City and beyond. She has performed at Ars Nova, Joe's Pub, Princeton University, Cornell University, Mo Pitkins, Soundfix Records, Bowery Poetry Club,  as well as comedy clubs including Comix, The Laugh Lounge, and Stand Up NY. Her songs vary in style from jazz to blues to pop, to heavy metal. (Clearly comedic)  Most recently, Erin and Her Cello released their debut album with a sold out show at Joe's Pub. Her stage presence alone will light up your night and leave you laughing out loud.
