Nancy Parent CD Release Concert. Nancy Brossard Parent, a singer-songwriter and pedal steel player from Waterford, Connecticut, will be releasing her first solo album, “Vision of Angels”, in October, 2012. Since 1998, Nancy has played with established folk-rock band, The Rivergods, as a lead singer, guitarist, and pedal steel player. She and husband Ben Parent write the band’s material, and most of the songs feature their close harmonies. Nancy continues to broaden her musical endeavors performing solo as well as collaborating with other Connecticut artists. Celebrating with Nancy are the bands Dogbite and Dirt Road Radio.
