Started in 2010 by former Damen Wiylde members, Rob Gies(Guitars) and Lance Murphy(Drums), Defile the Pure came together to bring their own twist on music to Colorado and the world. The former DW boys were joined by Dan Eve(Bass) and Chris Taylor(Guitars). They completed their lineup by adding Jared Schmidt(Vocals).
With their initial release completed at the end of 2011, DTP completes their entry in to the metal subculture and moves their brand of metal to the forefront of the metal scene.
