A California native, this Percussionist, Singer, Songwriter, Producer grew up listening to a very eclectic mix of music, from Johnny Cash to P Funk. He began playing congas at Berkeley High School & soon became the hand drummer for the Afro-Haitian dance classes and the Jazz & Symphonic bands. He also studied music in college under the direction of Bill Bell. This is when he began studying piano, Jazz composition & arranging as well as playing in local Funk, R&B & Jazz cover bands.
