The first annual DTC Americana Music Festival will be hosted by Dockside Tropical Cafe' in Marathon FL in the beautiful Florida Keys. When? The festival will begin Monday June 30 at noon and end Saturday July 5th at 10pm. Running every day from noon-10pm. How? Dockside Tropical Cafe will provide a state of the art sound system, lights on their tiki themed main stage. Solo & Duo performances will happen during the day beginning everyday at noon and continuing to 6pm when the night time headliner acts will take the stage each night at 7pm. Bands from as far away as New York City will be performing. Cost? Free to the public. What's Americana? Many sub-genres are included in Americana Music. Of first and foremost importance is that it is American. Derived from the traditions of acoustic music played since the early settlers came to America. It has expanded over the years to include Blues, Rock, R&B, Folk, Trop-Rock, Rock & Roll, Rockabilly and more. Over 30 performers will attend this inaugural event.
