Bio
Van Meter, Clarke & Hicks
Out of the blue collar sprawl bordering Cleveland's west side, comes a sound undeniably original. This is where blues meets bluegrass, rock mixes with folk and jazz and psychedelia collide. The songs and performances are distinctive in a way that they could not have been created anywhere else by anyone other than the collective that call themselves VCH. Countless performances at clubs/bars, universities, and coffee houses have given VCH the opportunity to hone and sharpen skills in front of diverse audiences on the stage, screen and radio airwaves. The challenge of finding a way to “reach people” with the songs is this band's mission and each show is considered a special event of its own.
