Collision Process / Press

“Extremely powerful progressive metal.”

“This is an excellent debut which promises a great deal for the future of Collision Process.”

“This is prog metal with attitude. PLAY LOUD.”

“From end-to-end, Collision Process is an impressive package, and an even more impressive band, given their fledgling status. In the wrong hands progressive metal can seem as accessible as scaling a 50-foot wall with iceblocks at the ends of your limbs, but Collision Process manage to offer depth without giving the listener the opportunity to drown themselves. If their first full-length album continues on this path, Collision Process could be on a collision-course with bigger and better things. Best shield yourself on impact – you may be hit by low-flying riffage.”

"Ectoplasm pulled shrieking from Hell’s maelstrom, voice of Edvard Munch’s ‘The Scream’ expressed by Francis Bacon’s bestial mutated mouth of Fury, wreaking revenge for crimes beyond human justice, a vocal to strike fear, disembodied, rasping, atonal growl beyond nodular distress, unrelenting, amplified opening vocal from Venom’s ‘In League With Satan’, on steroids. Brutally battered drums, finger shredding guitar and tumbling bass, flay the Devil’s steeds to foam flecked exhaustion raising havoc and mayhem, ridden by vocal sucked from black hole, exhaled from Lucifer’s mouth."

“...After catching them in support of The Defiled / Romeo Must Die I became an instant fan. The Collision Process EP is like being inside a tornado of sound, you have no idea whats going to hit you next... ...its brutal, its melodic, its technical.. in fact its everything that you want from a progressive metal record and I for one cannot wait until they release a full length album. Watch out for these guys, they play progressive metal at its finest and I expect we’ll be hearing a lot more from them very soon. 4/5”

"Like standing in a musical wind tunnel, [Collision Process] swarm all over the listener with an onslaught of power, energy and ferociousness tempered with melodies and intricate progressive rock sounds to savour. Like two bands in one, they fuse the eloquent guitar sounds and skills of a Dream Theater or Karnivool with the full out take no prisoners attack of Meshuggah, turning it into something original and distinctly theirs. The self titled EP brings four raw but at the same time cultured slices of sound fusing extremes skilfully... ...The ‘Collision Process EP’ is not only a special joy and an immensely satisfying find, but also maybe the dawn of a new force in British rock music, if not further afield. 9/10"

“Collision Process certainly bring the goods when it comes to heavy, head-banging riffs. Offering four unique and worthy tracks for the listener's consideration, [they] have escaped the curse of so many acts within this genre, who tend to simply recycle melodies and rhythms throughout their EP’s... ...You simply MUST hear all four tracks on this EP to form a genuine and honest opinion, because the band shows their diversity throughout... ...A very impressive effort. 8/10”

"In a local scene that doesn't lack in quantity, but often in quality, Collision Process provide a breath of fresh, well crafted and technically accomplished air... ...With their harsh, almost Randy Blythe-esque vocals, strong harmonies and tight, technical riffs, Collision Process have managed to craft a catchy but aggressive sound that will help them to stand out in an otherwise over-crowded metal scene... ...If nothing else, this debut EP will leave you heavily anticipating the release of the band's eventual debut album. Collision Process are definitely going to be one of the big local rising stars of 2011. Album rating: 9/10"

"These guys could equally be called 'Precision Process' being one of the tightest and technically-gifted bands I've had perform for Ovation. With a blend of superb throat-shredding vocals, awe-inspiring melodic riffs and bullet speed drums Collision Process always leave audiences asking for more!"

"Just caught a Collision Process gig and have been totally blown away by these guys! Brutally tight riffage, top notch musicianship, and a vocalist who's screaming is literally face peeling! Literally this band has it all! CP are one of the best live bands I've had the pleasure of seeing over the past couple of years."

““Extreme impact was felt the night that Collision Process took to the stage at Scruffy Murphys. For a venue that has hosted nights where the likes of Benediction and Selfless have played, this little bunch of lads came along and rallied up the crowds that regularly attend there, fearlessly blasting out melodious guitar riffs and lashing them with harmonious violent vocals. These guys are a real treat for any appreciative metal crowd, they certainly know how to project themselves and their music contains various dynamics that pretty much melts the face off any bystander! Collision Process came out of nowhere to Scruffy’s and due to their immense sound and talent, are not likely to be forgotten in a hurry. Be prepared to collide in procession to their head bashing music!””

"Solid metal outfit Collision Process have it all... A brutal yet melodic sound on each track, with superb vocal harmonies. Having seen them 'live' often recently, frontman Adam works a crowd well. A great bunch of lads that enjoy being on the live circuit. They're on the way up! Brace yourselves... Collision Process will be brutalising venues near you soon!"

"Brilliant. Absolutely excellent stuff."

“PUT OUT AN ALBUM SO I CAN BUY IT.”

"Your demos are world class - time to get a record deal. The best metal I have heard for years!"

"You guys are going to be awesome, it's inevitable."
