Q: Are you related to Ray and Flora Hicks? I visited them back in the '90's and brought them winter squash from my garden in Vermont every fall on my way through N.C. I sure do like your banjo playing!

A: I am not related to any of the famous Western Carolina/East Tennessee Hickses, as far as I know.
