"We are the alternative folk band Clever Folk. And we're here to ask for your support on our next musical endeavor. John and I are making a new CD to promote Nickel Cigar Box Guitars and we hope to be finished by the Cigar Box Festival and the Bonnaroo Music and ARTS Festival in June of this year," said Derrick Copeland. "This project is going to end up costing close to $7,000 and will include many contributions from the talented artists down at Lowe Mill. We hope to raise half of that money on kickstarter.com." ickstarter Fan Appreciation Cookout and Jams Nickel Cigar Box Guitars will be hosting a Kickstarter Fan Appreciation Cookout (Railroad Room #2 Outdoors 4-6:30pm) featuring John Nickel and Derrick Copeland of Clever Folk followed by the Band Kush in Concert on the Docks at 6pm. Lowe Mill is family and pet friendly. Bring Lawn Chairs.
