Bio: I've been writing songs since the early 1960s. Started out as a folkie and moved into many other styles over the years--blues, country, R&B, Latin, reggae, Gypsy, and finally something very much like jazz. For the past ten years I've been writing in the American Songbook style, or as close to it ... See Full Bio

Q: I like your stuff Christopher...Diamond Edge reminds me of "Take 5"...like that style of jazz...in fact, I like all that jazz!!
A: Thanks, Norman. Jazz is still a relatively new adventure for me. I started to get serious about it around 15 years ago. By the time I realized how freakin' complex it is, I was in too deep to turn back. I spend most days trying to figure out one new little piece of it and fit it in with all the other little pieces. Every once in a while I can collect a bunch of little pieces and cobble them into a song. It is both a labor and a thrill.
