Q: Hey, Chris, I have a question, what is the average annual rainfall in the amazon basin? They said I could be the first to ask u a question, so there.
A: Thank you for the posting a very pertinent question. As you probably know, the daily variances in rainfall in the Amazon Basin can alter my mixes quite dramatically. Average rainfall across the whole Amazon basin is approximately 2300 mm (or ~7.5') annually. In some areas of the northwest portion of the Amazon basin, yearly rainfall can exceed 6000 mm (almost 20')! That kind of resulting humidity can really play havoc with my oscillators, even at this distance. Thank you and have a great day!
