“Caliber a degree or grade of excellence or worth, Caliba just took the "er" off and added an "a"."1994 Baltimore Summer Jam seeing Biggie Smalls and Junior Mafia perform, the reaction they received from the crowd was amazing. I wanted that feeling as soon as I seen it, shit I still do" Caliba explains how he got his feel for this whole rap world. Born and raised in the Bronx, currently residing in Charlotte, NC. When Caliba appeared on the scene of radio at Hot 97 and killing DJ Kay Slay's show, that had to be his most euphoric feeling. As like all artist, there is a driving motivational force in their lives, Caliba tells us "my two daughters Jayla and Gianna, my parents my whole family really is my motivation". Leaving the Bronx hasn't halted Caliba's career one bit, "every time I feel like I'm done I get a phone call, an email something telling me about my music and how someone likes it". Down in Charlotte Caliba has his own label called "Green Light Entertainment".”
