B.A.S.E. Inc is a three-member rap group originally based out of Northern Virginia. Infinite Skillz, the organizing member of the group, calls Woodbridge, VA home but currently lives and works in St. Pete, FL. F.a.T claims Loudoun County(LoCo) as his stomping grounds. These two fierce emcees have achieved acclaim on their own as solo artists while simultaneously repping the squad. “Infinite Skillz -- a.k.a. Jeremy Writt -- lives in St. Pete, but he also heads up the Northern Virginia crew B.A.S.E. Inc. His solo stuff is deeply funky with a serious old-school influence.
And he cares about the scene -- in the past, he's blogged about hip-hop for Creative Loafing, and last year he organized a "Homegrown Hip-Hop" show at the State Theatre with artists like Laws.
This year, Homegrown Hip-Hop is back. Artists like BC, Waystid Talent, Unstoppable Force, Hard White, Miss Maggie and of course Infinite Skillz will be on hand for the show, scheduled for 8 p.m. Friday at the State Theatre in St. Pete. Tickets are $10-$12. Click here for details.
