Boomslang is a Montpelier, Vermont, based hip hop group comprised of DJ, Beatmaker, and Producer JL and MC Sed One. Deep, atmospheric, high-tempo beats and fiery, poetic, rapid-fire lyrics combine to form an underground sound that is positive, unique and highly danceable.
A founding member of the Golden Dome Musician’s Collective and State and Main Records Label, Boomslang have appeared on State and Main Records Compilation Albums Volumes I & II. They have rocked crowds on stages all over Vermont, opening up for acts such as The Aztezts, The Hieroglypics, and the GZA of the Wu Tang Clan.
After several years of developing their sound and testing it live on stage Boomslang is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on their debut album, which is scheduled to be released by State and Main Records in 2014.
