The George Lacson Project / Bio

George Lacson is a San Francisco based musician, born in St. Louis, Missouri. His sound melds that soulful, bay area funk with the rhythm-n-blues sound of his birthplace, but also adds modern instrumentation including synth, MIDI, and electronic voicings. A career changing event happened in 2006 when he became the bass player for John Lee Hooker Jr. Since then, he has been recording and touring internationally, sharing the stage with the likes of Lenny Kravitz, Z.
