I've always had a passion for music & writing. My father sings, plays bass guitar & keyboard. My mother writes poetry & has been given recognition for the poetry she writes. My sister sings in a church choir & is a great inspirational speaker. From them I was influenced to pursue music & writing.
I enjoy singing & listening to all types of music. My style is an easy listening mixed with Hip Hop, R&B, Rock, Funk & Country.
My CD single “What else do you want?” & my CD Fulfilled was released. Performed with Donald Trapani, an Elvis tribute artist, doing fund raisers events & special engagements, completed music recordings in Nashville, TN, I’m featured on DO-P’s CD “Will I Be Heard?” & given recognition for my poetry which are “In the mirror” & “Don’t Ever Say”, received an Editors Award & nominated as 2006 Poetry Ambassador & Poet of the year by the International Library Of Poetry.
Recorded a DVD interview & my song “What else do you want?“ was featured on the Songwriters TV Show in Nashville, TN. I’ve worked with several musicians & producers writing & recording songs. Performed at outreach programs & hosted & judged talent shows.
I am currently a vocalist of the band Consider This. We enjoy sharing with others God’s love, joy & to give some happiness. We do free outreach concerts, feed the homeless and families. Donate blankets, clothes, etc to those that are in need. I also help those that have endured domestic violence & work with troubled teens.
Even though I am writing lyrics & singing, I have not given up on poetry. So far I have written over fifty poems. Hopefully, in my future I will have them all published. But for now my book of poetry has not taken a back seat; it is just on the passenger side, so to speak & has helped a lot with songwriting. I give thanks to GOD for the precious gifts that I have & will continue to positively inspire people through songs & poetry.
Much love, happiness, peace & God’s blessings to all.
