Within just a year of being a band, Alter The Ending began to make their mark on the New Jersey music scene, earning a slot on The Bamboozle Festival, and performing at well-known venues such as The Stone Pony and Starland Ballroom. Consisting of singer/guitarist Andrew Pacheco, bassist Alex Guzzo, guitarist Ryan Hernandez, and drummer Luke Blecker, the group performs catchy, well written and arranged original songs, composed by vocalist Andrew Pacheco along with the occasional help of his fellow band mates. In January 2014, the alternative/rock group released "Tired Ships," the follow up to 2011's "Gone Again" to iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and other online retailers. The EP, recorded at Barber Shop Studios (housed along a lake in Hopatcong, NJ), features the group with a new matured sound, substantially evolved from their previously mentioned debut release. The five new songs feature intricate instrumentation, with all parts written to directly compliment, or often contrast each other, creating an exciting listening experience and a tight sound. The band, consisting of high school aged teens, is constantly writing and playing shows along the East Coast, and is currently planning a line of dates for late Winter/Spring 2014.
