My name is Chickie! I am a singer/songwriter from Philadelphia and I have been singing since I was about eleven. Since 2008 I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to perform at various venues in Philadelphia, Delaware, NYC and LA. I have performed for different crowds as large as forty thousand at the Phillies’ baseball stadium, and as small as 5 people on the corner of the famous South Street (where all the “Hippies Meet”) in Philadelphia. I have also competed in various vocal competitions. In the most recent competition, I was the winner of a talent contest for which the prize was a scholarship to the Rage Complex School for acting, singing and dancing in LA. After winning, I was also asked to sing in the School’s showcase at the House of Blues in LA on Sunset Blvd., which was an incredible experience. I performed a rendition of Beyonce’s “Listen” from the movie Dream Girls. A couple of years ago I received the Philadelphia Row Home Magazine's "Wish Rock Award".
I have performed and starred in many local theater productions as well. Previous roles include Tracy Turnblad in “Hairspray”, and Maureen in “Rent.”
I am beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to perform at the Mann Music Center, Clef Club of Performing Arts in Philly, Kimmel Center, Wells Fargo Center, Citizen Bank Park, Academy of Music, and the Lincoln Financial Field’s “Head House Plaza”. Just recently I performed at Carnegie Hall in NY for Kate Winslet's Golden Hat Foundation supporting Autism. I have also performed for the Phillies and the Philadelphia Soul, along with many previous gigs.
Additionally, I have worked with the legendary producer/engineer/songwriter, Lisa Ratner of NY (whose credits include Barbara Streisand, Vanessa Williams and Dolly Parton.) Since December 2009 Lisa and I spent many weekends together working to produce my previous CD. However, I just recently released my new CD "Get You Hooked" this year 2014. It is a 5 song CD that can be purchased on CD baby, itunes, etc. My new website is www.chickiepagano.com Follow me on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
I take my work as a vocalist/singer, and songwriter very seriously. I would not be able to achieve so much without the support of everyone around me who is helping me to accomplish my goals and dreams. I would like to thank my mom, dad, big sister and brother, relatives and friends, producers and musicians for attending my performances, listening to my music, checking out my website, my YouTube, and becoming a fan on Facebook.
