Sabira Woolley / Bio

With her pure and expressive voice, and inspired musicianship, Sabira is an artist who reaches the soul. Her performances are playful, her messages are insightful, deep and compassionate. Her music appeals to a wide range of people of diverse ages and tastes.
Sabira found her calling in her early teens. At age 16, she sang and played guitar in BC, Canada. Always eclectic, in San Francisco she added banjo and sang folk, rock, reggae, jazz and opera.
In San Diego, Sabira and keyboard virtuoso Ron Nathan formed the Island Fever band, and after a journey to Trinidad, West Indies, Sabira added the sparkling sound of steel pan. For years, Island Fever was in such demand that they were often playing 7 days a week, and multiple shows on weekends. They are still well loved and very popular.
Sabira has 5 original songs available for downloads, and more are in the works.
